There are two ways to start the home buying process. The first is a prequalification. With this we get some basic information, pull a single file credit report and let you know how your profile compares to the different programs we offer. This is free to you and is were we normally start with our clients. From there, you can choose to go further and get a preapproval letter. We typically need to get answers to a few more questions and get a hold of some income and credit docs. Once we have those we underwrite your file to the program guidelines and make sure that you are fully qualified to purchase your home. Our preapproval letters are preferred by realtors and sellers across the area because they know we go the extra mile to make sure they have a fully qualified buyer. You can also rest easy knowing we were thorough in approving you and you won’t have any surprises during your home purchase. We believe going the extra mile is part of our job and the only way we do business so we do our preapprovals at no cost to you as well.
